Smart Entry and Exit Sensors

As part of a broader initiative to enhance healthcare infrastructure and patient safety, a pilot project was successfully completed at a major hospital in Iraq, focusing on the integration of smart entry and exit sensors in its operating rooms.

The system relies on infrared and RFID-based sensors, which detect authorized personnel and automatically record their time of entry and exit.

Key outcomes of the project included:

• ✅ Increased safety by minimizing unauthorized access.
• ✅ Improved infection control by reducing unnecessary traffic into sterile areas.
• ✅ Precise logging of medical team movement for reporting and accountability.
• ✅ Integration with the hospital’s central information system (HIS).

 

Based on the success of this initial deployment, the system is now being considered for expansion across other critical departments, such as ICUs and emergency rooms.

تركيب حسّاسات ذكية للدخول والخروج في غرف العمليات بأحد المستشفيات العراقية

في إطار تحسين البنية التحتية للمرافق الصحية وتعزيز سلامة المرضى، تم تنفيذ مشروع نموذجي ناجح في أحد المستشفيات الكبرى في العراق، يهدف إلى تركيب حسّاسات ذكية للتحكّم في دخول وخروج الكوادر الطبية داخل غرف العمليات.

هدف هذا المشروع بشكل أساسي إلى تعزيز التحكم في الدخول، وضمان تعقيم بيئة العمل، بالإضافة إلى توفير نظام مراقبة تلقائي لحركة الطاقم الطبي.

يعتمد النظام على حساسات الأشعة تحت الحمراء وتقنية RFID، والتي تتعرف على الأشخاص المخوّلين وتُسجّل دخولهم وخروجهم تلقائيًا.

من أبرز نتائج المشروع:

• رفع مستوى الأمان عبر الحد من الدخول غير المصرّح به.
• تحسين مكافحة العدوى من خلال تقليل الحركة غير الضرورية داخل المناطق المعقّمة.
• تسجيل دقيق لحركة الفرق الطبية لأغراض المتابعة والتوثيق.
• ربط النظام مع نظام معلومات المستشفى المركزي (HIS).

تم تنفيذ المشروع بالتعاون مع الجهات الصحية المحلية وفرق هندسية متخصصة، وقد لاقى رضا واستحسان من قبل الأطباء والإدارة.

وبناءً على نجاح هذه المرحلة، يُدرس حاليًا توسيع النظام ليشمل وحدات أخرى مثل العناية المركزة وغرف الطوارئ.
